Tricking the Wort and Kay, she abducts them and commits to killing and eating them that same day. The two arrive at the cottage of the evil witch, who is a total predator. Throughout this chapter, the Wort insists on retrieving the arrow, going into the forest. The following events are what confuse me. We later find out that this gore-crow is the familiar of the witch Morgause. In Chapter 6, the Wort and Kay fire arrows into the sky, only for Wort's precious arrow to be snatched by a flying crow. It seemed like a good classic to pick up and I figured I'd give the Arthurian Legend a shot. I am currently listening to the book on Audible. I'm not sure if anyone else had read this recently.
